Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a popular American following her win on American Idol's first season. Her win was not only hugely successful and a huge success, it also earned her a recording contract for several albums with RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records. In the years since, she's recorded many studio albums. Three of them have made it to the US Billboard 200 charts while the others were only one or two inches away. She's one of the top artists who come out of her participation in the American Idol series. To achieve her success, she tried out different music styles and experimented on topics. In recognition of her talent and distinctiveness, she's received a lot of praise as well as awards. Notably, she's been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. Music isn't her only occupation. She also appears in TV and movies. She also wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of several charities.
