
Regina Marie "Jenna" Fischer[1] (born March 7, 1974)[22 American actress, best known for her portrayal of Pam Beesly on the NBC sitcom The Office (2005-2013), for which she was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Comedy Series in 2007. She was also producer on The Office's final season.Since since then, Fischer has appeared in movies like Blades of Glory (2007), Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007), The Promotion (2008), Hall Pass (2011), and The Giant Mechanical Man (2012) which was directed by her husband Lee Kirk. In the NBC comedy-drama You, Me and the Apocalypse, she also played Rhonda McNeil. Fischer was also on the ABC sitcom Splitting Up Together (2018-2019). She is the present co-host of the popular podcast Office Ladies.Fischer's debut book, The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide that was published in November of 2017. Fischer was born in Fort Wayne in Indiana and raised in St. Louis in Missouri. Her mother, Anne Miller, is an instructor in history. Her father, James E. Fischer is an engineer. She has a younger sister, Emily. Emily is a third-grade teacher. She began acting at the age of 6 at an acting class led by her mother at Henry School in St. Louis, a workshop also hosted by actor Sean Gunn, with whom she was raised. She attended Pierremont Elementary School in Manchester, Missouri and Nerinx Hall High School, a Catholic all-girls private Catholic school located situated in Webster Groves. 9 She holds a Bachelor of Arts in theater and a minor in journalism from Truman State University, where she was initially enrolled as a pre-law history major.
